
Parvathi Mahabala Shetty Memorial Eye Hospital was established on 2nd February 2014 under the Parvathi Mahabala Shetty Charitable Trust®, Shiroor. The hospital was built with an investment of approximately ₹4.5 Crores, supported by trustees, patrons, family members, well-wishers, and generous donors who shared a common vision of providing quality eye care to society. Strategically located at Shiroor, about 35 kilometres north of Udupi. The hospital serves patients from Udupi district and neighbouring rural regions, ensuring access to quality ophthalmic care irrespective of financial background. Today, the hospital has evolved into a comprehensive eye care centre equipped with modern diagnostic equipment, experienced specialists, dedicated surgical facilities, and outreach programmes that reach thousands of beneficiaries every year.
